I’m participating in the UC Irvine Anti‑Cancer Challenge during its 10‑year anniversary to help fund lifesaving cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and CHOC, part of Rady Children’s Health.
For me, this mission is profoundly personal. My mother and my aunt both battled breast cancer — and won. Their strength is a constant reminder of why research matters. I also carry the memory of a high school friend, Joshua Torres, we lost far too young to Ewing Sarcoma, and my husband’s uncle, Jerry, who passed away from brain cancer. These experiences have shaped my heart, my perspective, and my commitment to this cause.
For a decade, this community has helped launch innovative pilot projects and early‑phase clinical trials that lead to new advances in cancer prevention, treatment, and cures. Your support keeps that momentum going and brings hope to families like mine.
Please consider making a donation to my fundraiser today. Any amount makes a difference and brings us one step closer to a world without cancer.
